After a bit of surveying, I can see why there is some disagreement regarding this terminology. Interesting note: one Argentine Tango site didn&#8217;t even define a giro as a tango term!<\/p>\n<p>Molinete (windmill) :<\/p>\n<p>1. Molinete is an Argentine Tango move, where the follower turns around the leader, like a windmill. The term molinete is Spanish for windmill. Other words for molinete are giro and lady&#8217;s turn.<\/p>\n<p>2. Molinete is a figure in which the lady dances a grapevine on a circumference around the man, stepping side-back-side-forward using forward and back ocho technique and footwork, as the man pivots at the center of the figure.<\/p>\n<p>3.
